What Happened At NACS SHOW 2018?

Last week, the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) tradeshow was
held in Las Vegas. NACS packs a great deal into the busy three days it runs, but the
event is always well worth it. And this year’s show was no different. Here are a couple
highlights.

Clean Fuels National staff always looks forward to reconnecting with familiar
acquaintances as well as the opportunity to reach out and establish new friends as well.
Networking with others from across the industry is beneficial to everyone—it helps with
opening doors to new opportunities; answering questions to improving services; and, of
course, sharing in a common interest.

But that wasn’t the only takeaway from this year’s event.

NACS Michael VanoverArguably, the best highlight from NACS 2018 was the presentation Clean Fuels National
President and CEO, Michael K. Vanover, delivered on good housekeeping practices for
fueling stations. As one of the primary areas Clean Fuels specializes in, Vanover has a
great deal of first-hand knowledge on the subject. He pulled from some of the lessons
learned since his company’s inception nearly two decades ago, and how CFN has
significantly improved—and grown—as a result. Vanover’s presentation was very well
received by the large audience which was nothing but pleasing to Vanover himself.

For key points on the information Vanover discussed, you may download a free copy of
the CFN Housekeeping Guide. We are sure you will find it useful. And, of course, see
you at NACS in 2019!
